Shelfmark

Privacy policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

Shelfmark is a Shopify app made by DCODED. It prints barcode, SKU and price labels for products in a Shopify store and can fill in missing SKUs and barcodes. This policy explains what data Shelfmark handles, why, and how long it is kept.

Data we collect from merchants

Product data

To build labels, Shelfmark reads product titles, variants, prices, SKUs, barcodes, vendors, inventory quantities and locations from Shopify when you print. The labels are generated on request and are not stored. Shelfmark writes to your products only when you apply SKU or barcode changes you reviewed on the Barcodes & SKUs page.

Data about your customers

None. Shelfmark has no access to customers or orders and never sees, reads or stores your customers' names, emails, addresses or orders.

How the data is used

Only to run Shelfmark for your store: generate your labels, keep your designs and settings, track price changes, and answer your support requests. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the services below.

Services that process data

This website

shelfmark.dcoded.dev uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. We don't combine this with app data. You can block it with any tracker blocker or Google's opt-out add-on. The Shelfmark app inside Shopify doesn't use analytics.

Retention and deletion

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on an encrypted volume. Credentials are kept as encrypted secrets, separate from the code.
